Surfaris invented the remote area LEARN TO SURF format and have been running since 1994, years before anyone else. We run every week of every year. We will take you on a surf seeking pilgrimage between Sydney and Byron Bay. The route follows that blazed by the Sydney surfers in the early 60's following the introduction of the Malibu surfboard into Australia and is the same route followed by Sydney surfers today.

Surfaris has established a Surf Camp near the Surf Town of Crescent Heads, on the most remote section of coastline in N.S.W. We surf the best conditions within a 25klms radius North or South as well as straight out in front. We hold all National Park licenses to enable us to do that.

You will see a variety of wildlife including Dolphins, Roo's, Wallabies, Eagles, Hawks and other animal, bird and aquatic life;

The locations we select offer easy access to safe surf conditions and our guides are expert surfers who have an intimate knowledge of the coast and can place you in the best conditions according to your abilities. Most of our customers are beginners or close thereto but many experienced surfers also take our trips.

THE TRIPS : Our trips are all inclusive of transport, accommodation, meals, surf gear & surf lessons & there are NO EXTRAS.

You can bring your own board with us, on any trip, no problems.

1. Sydney to Byron Bay 5 day surfing trip.

This is our most popular trip. It includes all transport, meals, accommodation, surf gear & surf lessons from when you get on the bus on the Monday morning until you reach Byron Bay on the Friday evening. You can travel back to Sydney on ANY Sunday if you wish, inclusive of tariff.

Departs:

Sydney, every Monday from Bus Stop 7, Eddy Ave., Central Station at 7:45am.

You can return to Sydney with us inclusive of tariff any Sunday.

$549 per person incl. tax. This trip will be $599 per person for bookings made after the 1st December 2008.

5 Days Surfing.
All surfboards, wetsuits, rash vests and surfing apparel.
All surfing lessons provided by expert surfers with full qualifications.
5 day, 4 night Dorm or Tent ( your choice ) Accommodation at the Surfaris Surf Camp, Crescent Heads.
All meals till Byron Bay -vegetarians no worries.
Free return trip to Sydney any Sunday.
Budget accommodation guaranteed in Byron Bay if you want it but at your expense - no need to pre book.

This & all the following trips run every week of every year.

2  Sydney to Byron or Sydney Return 3 day trip.

This trip leaves Sydney every Monday same time & place as Trip 1 & returns you to either Sydney or Byron on the Wednesday evening. All other details the same as the above 5 day trip.

Tariff:  $399 per person all inclusive. This trip runs all year.

3. Sydney / Lodge / Sydney 5 day Trip.

This is the same as trip 1 but with the difference that you return to Sydney on the Friday evening by Train. The tariff for this trip is $599 & includes the return ticket to Sydney. This trip runs all year.

4. Byron Bay to Sydney 4 day Trip.

This trip leaves Byron every Sunday at 8:00am & you can travel to Sydney on the Wednesday evening inclusive of tariff. . All other details same as 5 day trip.

Tariff: $449 per person all inclusive. This trip runs all year. The tariff for this trip will be $499 for bookings made after the 1st December 2008.

5. Byron Bay Return or Byron Bay to Sydney 6 day trip.

Join this trip any Sunday in Byron & return to Byron or travel on to Sydney the following Friday evening inclusive of tariff..

Tariff: $599 per person all inclusive. This trip runs all year. The tariff for this trip will be $649 for bookings made after the 1st December 2008.

 

7.  Self Drive Option:
It is possible to drive your own vehicle to our Surf Camp which is located about 4klms along Loftus Rd., North of Crescent Heads. The cost is $95 p.p.p. night which includes everything except transport.

8. Bus or Train Pass Holders: 
We will pick you up & return you to the Bus or Train Station at Kempsey. Minimum 2 night stay. Cost $95 p.p.p.night which includes everything including pick up & returns to Kempsey.

All trips all inclusive. There are no hidden extras with Surfaris.

All of the above tariffs apply to Dorm Accommodation & there is the option for an upgrade to double room with en-suite at $25 per night on all trips.
